  Beach Day 4 Details
The day started off with a temper tantrum. Not completely unexpected but frustrating nonetheless. We let her finish it out and then went out for breakfast. Jeff's been wanting to try the English's Breakfast Buffet so that's where we headed. It's only about a block down from Layton's where we normally go. And Victoria, for someone who didn't want breakfast, she sure chowed down.

The day was forecasted to be overcast with periods of rain. It was fairly humid and we kept expecting the rain. Except it never materialized. Seems the rain went north and south of Ocean City but didn't really hit us.

Instead of going to the beach, we headed for the Boardwalk. Figured a walk after the buffet breakfast was a good idea. Also, we'd planned on getting Victoria's exercise in before we were all confined to the room (which never happened).

Victoria's been fascinated by the kites. We encouraged her to walk the Boardwalk by planning a stop at the Kite Loft. She and Daddy picked out a simple kite to try their hands with. Victoria was so excited, she wanted to open up the package and get it out right there.

We managed to keep her contained until we headed back to the hotel. She and Daddy worked to put the kite together. Then we gathered our bags and headed back to the beach to fly a kite. It took a little while as Daddy figured out how to get the kite in the air. I had to keep Victoria entertained and managed to stumble over her a couple times. But they managed to get it flying. So Victoria because our "little Kite Flyer".

We headed back to the Boardwalk for dinner. Victoria'd asked for grilled cheese. Seems to be her new favorite. We thought we'd check DaVinci's since it would be on the way. We stopped and looked at the menu but there was no grilled cheese. Victoria said she'd have pasta instead. Unfortunately we probably should have kept walking. While Jeff and I had some great pasta, Victoria took one bite of hers and declared it yuck. She did eat the bread though. And we brought strawberries and watermelon with us. So we indulged and headed down to Julia's for dessert. I got my funnel cake, Jeff got an ice cream cone, and Victoria got a hot fudge sundae. She took quite a while eating hers, but eventually she finished and we headed back to the hotel for goodnights.
